I owe that to all the ever– changing possibilities here at Cabrini University. I have been playing soccer since I was two-and-a-half years old, so just about 21 years of my life has been dedicated to this amazing sport. When it came time to leave home and attend college I knew soccer had to come packing with me.

Kate Corcoran, who was formerly the Director of Athletics, soon took over not just one large department but two, as she was declared the vice president for athletics and student engagement on Nov. 16, 2022.

    Student athletes hold an influential role at any university. On campus, they are highly visible members of the student body, performing in front of crowds of their peers, alumni, and the local community. Off campus, they have the responsibility of representing the university while traveling and competing at other schools. Being a student athlete of color, though, adds an additional challenge.
