The Central Criminal Court, London, a.k.a. Old Bailey, yesterday, set February 3, 2025 for trial of Marcus Monzo Arduini, the man charged with last week’s horrific sword murder of Daniel Anjorin in Hainaut, North East London. Judge Lucraft KC stated this during the hearing, in which the bearded Brazilian-Spaniard suspect looked subdued, but anxious in the dock in his grey round neck long sleeve jumper on a jogging bottom of the same colour.

Thirty-six-year old Brazilian-Spaniard, Marcus Mondo, the suspected murderer of 14-year-old Daniel Anjorin, a pupil of Bancroft School in Hainaut, North east London, will today appear before a Central Criminal Court at the Old Bailey, London. The 14-year old was killed while walking to Bancroft School in Hainaut, Northeast London, where he was a pupil. Mondo is charged with two attempted murders, possessing a bladed article, two-count of grievous bodily harm as well as aggravated burglary.

Prayers were offered yesterday for the family of murdered 14-year-old school boy, Daniel Anjorin, at a candlelight memorial service held in his honour at the Hainaut tube station car park. Floral tributes were also laid in the surrounding of the junction of Laing Close, where he met his horrific death. Some were with the colours of Arsenal, Anjorin’s favourite club.

It was an emotive atmosphere at the All Saints Church in Shooter’s Hill on Tuesday night, as family, friends, policemen and politicians paid tributes at the service of songs for Richard Taylor, the father of murdered 10-year-old schoolboy, Damilola, whose death reverberated across the United Kingdom on November 27, 2000.

The Plea and Pre-trial Preparation ( PPTP ) hearing of former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke, has been postponed from its scheduled date of later this month to July, a Southwark Crown Court official told The Guardian last Friday. Alison-Madueke, who was charged in August with bribery allegations by the United Kingdom’s National Crime Agency (NCA), was scheduled to appear with the other two defendants later this month.
