Unsurprisingly, 2023 has been another packed year of game releases, and things don’t show any sign of slowing down as we head into its final portion. With blockbusters like Detective Pikachu Returns and the Super Mario RPG remake on the horizon, plus several higher profile indies like El Paso Elsewhere and Slay the Princess joining them, it felt like a good time to shine a spotlight on some titles that I’ve found really special so far, ahead of the onslaught of holiday releases. We feel that we can speak for every Star Wars fan out there when we say that it was a life-changing experience to see Luke Skywalker pour blue milk into his cereal. It wasn’t anything special, really, and it was featured only once, but it was enough to make the blue milk a cult classic. This is no doubt why Star Wars has teamed up with TruMoo in the weeks leading up to May 4th. For those who don’t know, May 4th is the unofficial day of celebration for Star Wars fans all over the world.

And now that vinyl release is on the way. Gamemusic Records label has announced that pre-orders for the Baldur’s Gate 3 vinyl albums are now available in both Standard and Deluxe editions.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 doesn’t care whether you like it or not. Now, let’s be clear: I know that video games do not have feelings or just one intention. Despite what big names may imply on big stages during big shows, video games are not made by one person. There are no real auteurs, and to argue otherwise shows a complete misunderstanding of the development of video games. But Dragon’s Dogma 2 is aware of its rough edges, and doesn’t look to sand them down.
