The tournament bass fishing season is in full swing, and circuits like Best Bass Tournaments (BBT) are busy putting on tournaments across California. There have already been plenty of memorable moments in the season, but the best may be yet to come, according to longtime tournament director Randy Pringle. The bass are biting, and the upcoming events in all seven regions should showcase the excellent bass fishing in the various fisheries.

He's in exclusive company with those two victories and has a chance to do something nobody else fishing this year's REDCREST can: to claim all three major championship wins. He'll be among the field fishing Lake Guntersville and can make history with another big win.

After a long and well-documented journey from Australia to the top level of American bass fishing, Carl Jocumsen is competing in his third straight Bassmaster Classic. While he now lives in Tennessee, he originally came to America and lived in Texas, and this year’s tournament site, Lake Ray Roberts, was one of the first places he fished when he started visiting the States.

Reigning Bassmaster Elite Series Angler of the Year Chris Johnston wants to add one more trophy to his collection back home in Canada: the Bassmaster Classic trophy. This year's tournament on Lake Ray Roberts in Texas should be a good one, and Johnston should be considered a favorite, although he lives thousands of miles away and in another country. The last time the tournament was here in 2021, Johnston finished in 8th place.
