    Rio Grande/NAIA Sports Information     COLUMBIA, Mo. - University of Rio Grande junior Tyler Jenkins achieved All-American status by virtue of his 31st place finish in Friday's 2024 NAIA Men's Cross Country National Championship at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course.      Jenkins, a native of Barnesville, Ohio, completed the 8k course in a time of 24:34.      The top 40 runners in the field of 331 participants earned All-American honors.

    Rio Grande Sports Information     EVANSVILLE, Ind. - The University of Rio Grande men's cross country team posted an 11th place finish in Friday morning's Angel Mounds Invitational hosted by Southern Indiana University.      The 17-team meet, comprised mostly of NCAA Division I, II and III schools, took place at the Angel Mounds Cross Country Course - the same facility which will play host to next month's River States Conference Championship.

    RSC/Rio Grande Sports Information      MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - University of Rio Grande junior Tyler Jenkins has been named the River States Conference Male Cross Country Runner of the Week.      League officials made the announcement Monday evening.      The Barnesville, Ohio native had the top individual showing at Marshall University's Thundering Herd XC Invitational and also helped the RedStorm claim the team championship.

    Rio Grande/RSC Sports Information     MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - After posting a runner-up finish in the River States Conference last fall, the University of Rio Grande is once again picked No. 2 in the 2024 RSC Men's Cross Country Preseason Coaches' Poll.      The poll, produced through balloting of the league's 11 head coaches, was announced Thursday by conference officials.

    Rio Grande Sports Information     MARION, Ind. - University of Rio Grande graduate senior AJ Gruttadauro posted an All-American finish in the men's 5,000-meter race walk during Thursday's action at the 72nd NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University.      Gruttadauro, a native of Brockport N.Y., placed fifth in the event with a time of 22:28.09. The top eight finishers earned All-American status.
