Following that, he had an illustrious NBA career with the Boston Celtics, but the Celts got him into quite a pickle following their game 2 loss at home to the New York Knicks.

On Saturday, the NBA announced its official combine list of college and international basketball players that are invited to this year’s NBA pre-draft event. Last year, both Johnny Furphy and Kevin McCullar Jr. represented the Kansas Jayhawks at the combine, prior to them each being selected in the second round of the draft. This year, no KU players were invited, which is rare.

The 5th highest salaried-player on the Nuggets hasn’t played any real minutes thus far…Following the Denver Nuggets’ wild win in game 4 over the Los Angeles Clippers in the Intuit Dome, things are looking shakier than ever with their playoff rotation. Yes, the Mile High Crew won the game, but they nearly blew a 22-point 4th quarter lead if not for Aaron Gordon’s put-back buzzer-beater dunk. Denver should turn to Zeke Nnaji in game 5 to soak up some minutes.

The good, the bad, and the ugly: Westbrook will be crucial regardless for Denver!After initially signing Russell Westbrook to a veteran minimum contract during the offseason, the Denver Nuggets knew that there would be some insane highs and some head-scratching lows that come with rostering the former MVP. At times, he has looked like the 2nd best Nugget on the floor, and at other times, he has looked borderline-unplayable, but he is crucial to the team.
