Ole Miss and NC State are finalizing an agreement to play a neutral site game on Sunday, Dec. 21. According to CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein, the game will be played in Greensboro, and there will be a return game during the 2026-27 season at a yet to be determined location. The Wolfpack are entering their first season of the Will Wade era.

OXFORD | The only freshman on the Ole Miss women's basketball team for the 2025-26 season will be former 247Sports four-star shooting guard Lauren Jacobs. Jacobs, standing at 5-foot-9, was ranked as 247Sports' No. 25 shooting guard (No. 86 overall) and the No. 1 player out of South Carolina in the 2025 recruiting cycle. The Rebels beat out South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Clemson, Auburn, UCF and Virginia Tech among others for Jacobs' services.
