Two key depth players will be staying in New England for at least one more year. On Monday night, the Boston Fleet announced the team has signed forwards Jill Saulnier and Theresa Schafzahl to one-year contracts for the 2025-26 campaign. Schafzahl has been with Boston since she was taken in the seventh round of the inaugural PWHL Draft in 2023. She has provided energy from the bottom six, sometimes playing her way up the lineup.

She will be taking over the role as head coach of the Princeton University women’s hockey program.
