BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Texas A&M track & field claimed three event wins in the outdoor home opener, the 44 Farms Team Invitational at E.B. Cushing Stadium on Friday. Auhmad Robinson, the reigning SEC Men’s Runner of the Week for his work as a quarter-miler, won the 200m this week in 20.21 seconds. That would have stood for a new meet record if it wasn’t wind-aided. Senior Elise Smoot won the women’s 1500m with a new meet record and personal best of 4:22.37.

The Maroon and White have put up 40 runs in that winning streak, a doubleheader over then No. 1 Tennessee, and Tuesday night’s 14-1 run-rule victory over Sam Houston.
