Wednesday is the deadline for having a REAL ID if you are planning to board a commercial airline or get into some federal buildings. Homeland Security now says if you still do not have one, you will not be turned away at the airport. You can still fly using your driver's license without the REAL ID, but will face additional security screenings. A valid U.S. passport, military ID, permanent resident card or tribal issued ID are also acceptable.

Florists are seeing price increases tied to import tariffs, but many are choosing to absorb the extra cost, at least for now. A 10% tariff on imported flowers is starting to hit invoices across the country. 80% of all cut flowers sold in the U.S. come from overseas, most from South America, so the impact is real. Local florist Mary Green of Wygant Floral says she’s seeing prices tick up, but she’s trying not to let that affect the people walking into her shop.
