The May Grand Sumo tournament is kicking off in Tokyo today and one ex-sumo wrestler has really been turning heads ahead of the start. So has his wife. Last year, sumo wrestler Takakeisho Takanobu announced his retirement from professional sumo at the age of 28 following a series of injuries. But after fighting for years at a weight between 350-410 pounds, he started a weight loss journey that has really taken the world by storm.

NBA legend and commentator Charles Barkley has never been one to hold back on an opinion and that was especially true for his most recent hot take on name, image and likeness deals (NIL) in college basketball. After losing back-to-back home games via humiliating blown leads at home to start the Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Boston Celtics got one back at Madison Square Garden today. Boston beat the New York Knicks 115-93, looking far more like the dominating team that won the NBA Finals last year than the one that couldn't buy a bucket earlier this week. Jayson Tatum led the way for the Celtics with 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

But one recently-retired wrestler has undergone a weight loss so drastic that he doesn’t even look like the same person anymore. Takanobu Satō, who competed in professional sumo for over a decade as “Takekeisho Takanobu” retired this past September following a series of injuries.
