Whether it was electronic artists claiming the lion's share of the lineup or the countless individuals roaming Empire Polo Club with "sprouts" on their heads, the message in Indio this year was loud and clear: EDM and rave culture are reshaping Coachella. As the merciless desert sun gradually lowered its bright yellow hues into the horizon, the iridescent structures within the fabled venue came alive as if through some sort of chromatic hypnosis.

After hosting a noteworthy first season in 2024, Goldenvoice Surf Club returned to the desert for two standout weekends of fun under the sun. Located inside the Palm Springs Surf Club, the daytime pool party series acted as a perfect poolside retreat before attendees headed east to the company's main event, Coachella. Having once been the home of a sprawling water park, the venue included accommodations not found at your run-of-the-mill desert pool party.

Surrounded by towering skyscrapers on all sides, Los Angeles' Skyline Festival lived up to its name by engulfing the streets of downtown with the hard-hitting beats of techno and house music. The Insomniac Events production absorbed three city blocks for two days of dance music utopia. Using the elegant city hall tower as its anchor, the festival went with a more minimalistic approach in design in 2025, utilizing all of the amenities Grand Park offered.

The vibrant streets of Downtown Los Angeles will once again reverberate with the sounds of house and techno as Skyline Festival returnd this weekend for its fourth iteration. Organized by Insomniac Events, the two-day event will once again return to Grand Park for a multi-block takeover stretching from the music center to city hall. Within those boundaries, attendees can expect to find three distinct stages showcasing an array of international talent within the house and techno genres.
