Muted celebrations from the Farneymen who deep down will be delighted to be back in Division 1 next season. A massive second-half from Gabriel Bannigan's side as substitute Jack McCarron netted a goal and a couple of points. Rory Beggan was equally effective from placed balls as he registered two two-pointers. Diarmuid Murtagh's frees couldn't guide the Rossies to silverware this evening.

FULL-TIME: Limerick are Football Division 4 champions for 2025! Its a cliche line but they say goals win games and that's what has happened this evening! Limerick become the first side to defeat Wexford in 2025. Goals from Darragh O'Siochru, Peter Nash and Tommie Childs perhaps the defining factor in the end. James Naughton's 0-4 was equally impressive. Mark Rossiter (0-4), Eoin Porter and Pairic Hughes (0-2, each) impressed for Wexford, but its defeat for John Hegarty's side.
