The MoU was concluded on the sidelines of the Tajik-GermanBusiness Forum held in the capital. Another MoU was signed betweenthe Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and the GermanAssociation for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW).

The association, which includes over 1 million companies fromGermany, aims to support businesses in entering internationalmarkets. The newly opened office in Dushanbe is the 93rd suchoffice globally.

Tajikistan’s SomonAir airline, in partnership with travel agency ANTARES LLC(FLY.TJ), is launching direct flights to the Egyptian city of SharmEl-Sheikh, Trendreports via the airline. The first flight is set for May 11, with weekly service everySunday using Boeing 737-800 and 737-900 aircraft. The flight fromDushanbe will take about 5 hours and 30 minutes, and the returntrip will take around 5 hours.
