Screening substantially decreases colorectal cancer (CRC) incidence and mortality through detection of CRC precursors and early-stage CRC (1, 2). The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) provides a grade A recommendation for CRC screening for ages 50 to 75 years and a grade B recommendation for ages 45 to 49 years (3). Despite the effectiveness of CRC screening, approximately 40% of eligible persons are not up to date with CRC screening in the United States. (4).
