0 Flares 0 Flares × A crowd of largely twentysomethings gathers in a mountainside campsite after dark, where a young woman with a headlamp powers a turntable and a laptop, spinning electronic beats. As the crowd grooves, a young man juggles what looks like blue orbs. Two officers from the Royal Canadian Mountain Police trudge up the path toward them, then stop outside a line of tape, checking on things.

Yet-another mining of the Disney catalogue, it’s an inoffensive adaptation that feels familiar, comfortable, and completely unnecessary. I sound like I’m channeling the titular blue alien before he discovered ohana and people who love him, antennae, six legs and all.
