I started this blog in 2013 when I realized that about a third to a half of my reading was literary fiction by women. I thought I might be able to offer a different perspective if I increased that percentage to 50-75 percent and only wrote about books by women. Before long, a huge majority of my reading was books by women; over the past decade it has remained in the 80 to 85 percent range.
