The Estonian government has approved its position on the EU's proposal to reduce CO2 emissions by 90 percent by 2040 compared to 1990 levels, on the condition that the necessary technology to achieve this target is available. Isamaa party chair Urmas Reinsalu criticized the government's position, calling it "analytically immature."
