    Are some things in life free, or is life free of some things? I have no clue. Two-bit existentialist thoughts aside, smartphones certainly seem to be freeing themselves of a lot. First went the skeuomorphic design style, the 3.5mm jack (wireless will always be inferior), then your sanity & peace of mind. The one thing I’ve been missing lately is buttons. Tactile feedback. A physical confirmation of having interacted with an object. Remember when phones had actual keypads?
