Varun Hebbalalu·Follow7 min read·--The Indian city of Delhi is shrouded in a ‘toxic’ smog, leading to the government having to ask schools and offices to work online and banning some vehicles from entering the city. On its own, fog is not a bad thing — I quite enjoy being in a scenic place engulfed in mist. What’s dangerous about Delhi’s, however, is that it’s a mixture of smoke and fog, at least partly due to pollution, per a Reuters report.

Oct 14 (Reuters) - Indian carmakers' sales to dealers marked the first decline in 10 quarters in the July to September period, data from an industry body showed on Monday, as the once red-hot consumer demand for big cars petered out. Automakers' sales to dealers dropped in July, August and September for an aggregate 1.8% year-on-year decline to around 1.06 million in the second quarter, data from the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers showed.
