On Monday, March 31, the group Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky is placing blue pinwheels into the ground at the Kentucky state capitol. Blue pinwheels are known as symbols for preventing child abuse. The annual event started two decades ago to bring awareness to children dealing with abuse. 3,000 pinwheels will be planted, one for each of those kids.
