EP2 is widely expressed, with high expression in vascular endothelium, human intestine, lung, kidney, uterus, and cerebral cortex (Woodward et al. 2011), and is implicated in numerous pathological disorders via both under and over-activation, including epilepsy, endometriosis and cancer.
