Photo / SuppliedAuthorities are still in Aspiring National Park looking for 21-year-old Hector Gaston Artigau, who has been missing since Thursday evening. Artigau is believed to have fallen from a rock and into the river while hiking the Rob Roy Glacier track in Aspiring National Park, near Wānaka. Multiple search and rescue teams are currently searching for the man.

Photo / SuppliedThe person missing in Aspiring National Park is 21-year-old Hector Gastón Artigau, from Argentina, who is in New Zealand on a working holiday visa. Artigau was hiking the popular Rob Roy Glacier Track with two friends two days ago when he fell off a rock into the river and did not resurface.

Herb Keen lived a life of service to his community, after returning to New Zealand from fighting in World War II. He died last year aged 106. A man who gave a lot to his country in his long life continues to do so after his death. Herbert (Herb) Keen, one of New Zealand’s oldest citizens and World War II veterans, died just over a year ago at the Wallingford Rest Home in Temuka, north of Timaru, with his family by his side. He was 106.
