The tree is a “means.” It is a vehicle. An apple or an orange is a magnificent product. The tree is like the “dry branches” that present us with clusters of grapes. This doesn’t imply the insignificance of the tree itself. The quality of the fruits reflects the tree’s status in the sight of the one who owns all blessings.
