CANTON — In an agreement inked Thursday at the Canton town board meeting, the town will pay Two Banks Development LLC, the owner of the former Canton paper mill property, $140,000 a month to treat its wastewater. In addition, the town will issue a payment of $700,000 within seven days of signing the agreement to cover sewage treatment costs between Jan. 1, 2025, and May 30, 2025.
