The Act introduces a new positive legal obligation on employers to take reasonable steps to protect their workers from sexual harassment. This means that employers will have a positive legal duty to prevent sexual harassment of their workers.

Joshua joined the firm last summer, through the new Masters of Law (M-Law) paralegal scheme at Kent Law School (University of Kent), which CooperBurnett was proud to support since its inception. After successfully completing his Masters degree, he recently joined the firm full-time.

Lisa joined the team eight years ago, having previously worked as a conveyancer in East Sussex for ten years; she qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2015. Lisa deals with all aspects of conveyancing, including freehold and leasehold transactions, re-mortgages, lease extensions and transfers of equity.
