How A Solo Night Out Changed My PerspectiveAfter I crossed the railway station, I was in complete darkness. My phone’s torch was the only light. I couldn’t find a single glow around me. It was around 1:30 am. I saw a bus coming towards me. Thank God. I made a sudden attempt to hail the bus so I could arrive home safely and quickly. To my bad luck, the driver didn’t stop the bus. I don’t know why. Again, tension started in my mind. There wasn’t a single person, light, or vehicle around me.

I dedicated myself to finding publications on the medium all day. Very few videos are available about publications on YouTube. After finishing my first script on Medium, I considered the benefits of submitting it to publications instead of self-publishing. However, I couldn’t publish my draft to a publication because there were no publications listed. After Googling, I discovered that to submit a draft or a story to a publication, I must be a writer or editor at that publication.

One day, while walking around my house, I overheard a story that caught my attention. It was about two friends — best friends — whose relationship had taken an unexpected turn. I wondered where it was coming from, so I searched around and found out it was coming from my dad’s phone. He was listening to a YouTube podcast. Since it was about friendship, I thought it would be nice to listen while I continued my tasks.
