    Hindenburg Research has released a new report on its website that claims the US-based online gaming platform Roblox Corporation, which is popular among children, is an “X-rated pedophile hellscape, exposing children to grooming, pornography, violent content and extremely abusive speech”. Hindenburg also said Roblox had falsified data and showed an inflated number of users to investors, regulators and advertisers.

    The Indian vegetarian thali was costlier by 11 per cent in September 2024 on a year-on-year basis, while price of the non-vegetarian thali saw a 2 per-cent fall in the same period, according to CRISIL Market Intelligence and Analytics Research on October 4. Surge in vegetable prices is the primary reason for the rising cost of the veg thali. Vegetables account for nearly 37 per cent of the veg thali’s cost, and important ingredients saw prices go up.

    Salaries in India will grow by 9.5 per cent in 2025, predicts a survey report by the global professional services company Aon. The survey also notes that Attrition Rate, or the rate at which employees leave an organisation voluntarily or involuntarily, has been on the decline in India since 2022. While on salaries, the survey says that growth registered in 2025 would be slightly more than the 2024 figure of 9.3 per cent.

    Make in India, the government’s flagship initiative to augur all-round development of the country, has completed a decade. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday took to social media to celebrate 10 years of the scheme that, he noted, has led to rise in exports across various sectors, boosted the nation’s building capacity and, in the process, strengthened economy. Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah also posted his message to the nation on the occasion.

    India is among the world’s most overworked countries, latest data from the International Labour Organization (ILO) shows. The nation is second in the world in terms of extended working hours, with 51 per cent of its workforce logging more than 49 hours every week. On an average, Indians spend 46.7 hours at work every week, the ILO data adds. South Asian nations feature prominently in the ILO list, and Bhutan emerges at the top with 61 per cent working for more than 49 hours every week.
