The Chicago Bears' running back room consists of D'Andre Swift, Roschon Johnson and seventh-round rookie Kyle Monangai. While it's a good trio, they would be even better with one upgrade. At this point, the 2025 NFL draft and the heavy-hitting free agents are in the past. But there are still a few good players available, but they come with some risk. One of those players is former Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb.

The Chicago Bears welcomed eight new rookies to the roster during the 2025 NFL draft, which included a pair of playmakers in tight end Colston Loveland and wide receiver Luther Burden III with their first two selections. Chicago also shored up the trenches with the second-round selections of offensive tackle Ozzy Trapilo and defensive tackle Shemar Turner.

Nico Hischier had a marvelous season in 2024-25. The New Jersey Devils captain helped steer the ship during turbulent times, stepped up offensively in Jack Hughes's absence, and still played Selke-level defense. The New Jersey Devils lost in overtime of Game 5 of their first-round matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes by a score of 5-4. It was a power-play goal for Sebastian Aho that eliminated the Devils from the postseason.

Chicago Blackhawks in today’s Team USA 🇺🇸 win over Team Hungary 🇭🇺: 🏒 2 goals and 1 assist for Frank Nazar 🏒 1 assist for Alex Vlasic

I’m not sure that TJ Brodie is going to be back with the team but I could see Jason Dickinson and Lukas Reichel carving out a role. They will benefit if the team in general is better. We’ll see.

A handful of Chicago Blackhawks players failed to meet expectations in 2024-25. The team wasn’t very good as a whole but the roster wasn’t great. These 3 guys could have been better. New for @TheHockeyNews https://t.co/nQCDkF19Vo

New Jersey Devils legend Martin Brodeur is one of the six goalies named to the NHL’s Quarter Century team and he’s the most deserving. I would have had Tuukka Rask and Andrei Vasilevskiy make it over Roberto Luongo and 21st century Patrick Roy but they all were elite.

Introducing the goalies voted to the #NHLQCTeam! 🥅 NHL Quarter-Century Team presented by @SAP https://t.co/QDNaYPV9BX
