    Acclaimed San Francisco restaurant A16 has opened its doors in downtown Napa, bringing its celebrated southern Italian cuisine to the heart of Wine Country. Located at 821 Coombs Street, the new outpost takes over the former Miminashi space. The original San Francisco restaurant now has outposts in Oakland, the Ferry Building and Napa. The Italian trattoria is known for its wood-fired pizzas made "Vera Pizza Napoletana," the gold standard for Neapolitan pizza.

    The Food Mill in Napa has reopened under new ownership and a refreshed identity, interior and menu offerings. Now known as The Food Mill Kitchen, the business was acquired in October by Jorge Chavez (also known as George), Juan Evangelista, Tomas Toral and Angel Baez. “We’re a four-person team, all with deep roots in the local food scene, with over 70 years of combined experience in specialty food, deli, beer and wine,” said Chavez.
