Kim was standing at a Citibank ATM when Lee pounced. Lee killed Kim over $300. Assistant Manhattan District Attorney Dafna Yoran said she felt sorry for Lee. Yes, he put down an old man over a few bucks. However, Yoran “saw an opportunity for a transformative outcome,” according to Gothamist. After all, who could blame the defendant?
