Kayden Tiller, the winning pitcher for the Warriors (14-10, 5-5 SD5), tossed a complete-game three-hitter with 11 strikeouts. Mason Hogue knocked in two runs. Tanner Swearingen went 2-for-3 with a triple for the Oakers (5-16, 4-6). Gabe Williamson tripled and scored one run.

Maddie Dalberti pitched the win versus I.V., allowing six hits and striking out eight. Morgan Swearingen was 2-for-4 with a home run, triple, two runs and two RBIs. Dalberti went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Teagan Fauver scored three runs for the Oakers (16-8, 9-2 SD5).

RIDDLE — The Riddle Irish and Glendale Pirates faced off in a Special District 6 baseball doubleheader, which ended with a win and loss for both teams on Friday. Riddle won the opener 5-1, but Glendale took the nightcap 12-5. Tucker Halstead pitched a no-hitter for the Irish (8-9, 8-7 SD6) in the first game, striking out 16, walking one and hitting one batter. Layton Rainwater was 2-for-3 with a double and RBI, and freshman Kane Terry scored two runs.

SUTHERLIN — The Sutherlin Bulldogs won a wild Far West League baseball game against Douglas Trojans on Tuesday, prevailing 15-14 in 10 innings. Sutherlin pushed over three runs in the bottom of the 10th to win it. Brayden Shaver was 3-for-6 with a double, four RBIs and two runs for Sutherlin (9-12, 4-6 FWL) versus Douglas. Trent Westrom had two hits and knocked in three runs. Freshman Easton Bachmeier went 3-for-5 with one walk and two runs for the Trojans (7-13, 3-4).

The contest was stopped early due to the mercy rule. Douglas (16-2, 10-0 FWL) kept its share of first place in the league race. Harlee Agee pitched a three-hitter for the Trojans, striking out 10 and walking none.

MT. ANGEL — The Kennedy Trojans marched to a 14-4 win over Umpqua Valley Christian/Camas Valley in six innings in a nonleague softball game Thursday. The Trojans (9-8 overall) got a big offensive game from Audrey Brenden, who went 4-for-4 with two doubles, six RBIs and three runs. Grace Traeger had two hits and pitched the win, striking out nine. For the Monarchs (8-8), Emma Stiles was 2-for-3 and Kendyl Elias went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs. Reagan Dettyler tripled and knocked in two runs.
