A few years ago, I sat in a church leadership team meeting where the lead pastor said something I’ll never forget: “Let’s make sure people leave feeling better than when they came.” Everyone nodded. Something needed fixing. Frustrating? Sure. But it happens. Then came round two. Different plane, same process. Bags up. Belts on. Sit tight. And again, mechanical issue. Another delay. Another deboarding. By the time we got on the third plane, I wasn’t grateful we were safe. I was just annoyed.
