The Atlanta Falcons have spent a lot of resources in recent years on the offensive side of the ball. Eight of the 11 projected starters were draft picks and Atlanta spent big on Kirk Cousins. There are holes on defensive, most notably edge, safety, and cornerback. Richie Grant was a second-round pick three years ago, and he has woefully underperformed. Arnold Ebiketie was a second-round choice at edge two years ago. He’s shown promise, but he needs help.

Have you ever heard people say, "if you know, you know; and if you don't, you don't"? OSINT is kind of like that.
I can't imagine how the concept of open-source intelligence (OSINT) would have ever crossed my radar before I started working at ShadowDragon in early 2019. Armed with a background in real estate law but seeking a career outside the legal sector, I had little experience in computer science.

When NFL.com’s Maurice Jones-Drew released his preseason running back rankings, he listed Bijan Robinson of the Atlanta Falcons outside the top 20. He didn’t list Tyler Allgeier at all. We took issue with his rankings at the time:Jones-Drew tried to make amends after Week 1 by listing not one, but both of the Falcons running backs in the Top 15 of his updated running back rankings. Allgeier came in ahead of Robinson after his performance against the Carolina Panthers at No. 8.

Head coach Arthur Smith revealed at his media briefing on Wednesday that Patterson’s injury could take some time to heal. Arthur Smith said Cordarrelle Patterson will be out a couple weeks, likely the rest of the preseason and they will reevaluate and have more info on his status in the week before Week 1.

The Atlanta Falcons took edge rusher Zach Harrison in the third round of April’s NFL Draft. At 6’5 and 275 pounds, he has the size and length on the edge the Falcons have lacked the last several years. NFL.com draft analyst Chad Reuter graded every teams’ top rookie. Bijan Robinson and Matthew Bergeron were inactive against the Miami Dolphins, so Harrison fit the bill. Reuter gave Harrison a ‘C’ for his work against the Dolphins.

Vegas picked the Atlanta Falcons to win four games in 2022, but they nearly doubled that amount going 7-10. They were handicapped by nearly $84 million in dead contracts, but still overachieved relative to expectations. After emerging from cap hell, the Falcons rebuilt their defense in free agency and added another potent weapon via the NFL Draft in running back Bijan Robinson. However, the Falcons enter the 2023 season with a bit of an unknown at quarterback.
