The full episode is for paid subscribers onlyOk I didn’t quite get my fill when I did my recent pop radio episode Ok Let’s Talk About Pop Radio so this shorter special episode picks up where that one left off. This time we mostly go though stuff from the past couple years and look at the current 2025 crop of pop.

Listen to last week’s Walter Martin Radio Hour: HappinessNow on Tidal, Apple and Spotify!I love this damn playlist. Every song makes me happy but nothing is too sweet or annoying. There’s stuff from all over the place: New Orleans, Scotland, New York, Texas, Mexico, Germany, Jamaica, Detroit and Brazil. Every song from last episode plus lots more. If you’re having a springtime party or just want something joyful and warm to throw on, I think this should do the trick.

Listen to last week’s special episode:Ok Let’s Talk About Pop RadioI’m glad people are enjoying last week’s episode about pop radio. I definitely laughed hard while going through all that stuff. It was a goddamn hoot to remember all the great (and not great) music my daughters have subjected me to. Honestly, for the past few days, I’ve had Sorry Not Sorry playing on repeat in my head and it’s been fantastic.

Listen to last week’s Walter Martin Radio Hour: Break out the Caribbean RecordsHi - last week’s Caribbean episode felt great. If you couldn’t tell, I love this goddamn music so much. I had to get creative when I made this playlist because the early Bob Marley collections (and some of the Trinidadian calypso comps) on Spotify and Apple are all screwed up and some stuff is mislabeled. But I found some great additional tracks in the process.
