Did Jonathan Gannon spend the 2 weeks completely committed and focused on the Eagles' game preparation for the Super Bowl? Obviously not. That's not a narrative, it's a fact. Any coach will tell you --- the last thing a team wants during SB prep weeks is any kind of distraction.

As long as JT accepts that Dadrion Taylor-Demerson is the most instinctive free safety, esp. in pass coverage, the Cards should hold on to Jalen Thompson for his veteran leadership, strong box play and ability to cover TEs within a young, diversely talented secondary.
