If you've ever wondered what happens to the spectacular RHS Chelsea Flower Show gardens after the week-long showcase wraps up, you're certainly not alone. While many of the individual flowers, shrubs and trees are in fact being replanted across London – in 2023, the RHS estimated a total of 70,000 re-homed plants to date – many of the featured gardens simply cease to exist. Some, however, are granted a life after Chelsea – like this year's British Rainforest Garden by The Wildlife Trust.

Devoted Bridgerton fans will not have to dream of wandering the castle grounds alongside their favourite characters anymore, as the historic Castle Howard is now open to the public. Visitors can marvel at rooms destroyed in a fire in 1940, now restored to their original splendour. The ostentatious Baroque structure in North Yorkshire was built between 1699 and 1811, spanning the lifetime of three Earls, and has been home to the Howard family for more than 300 years.
