HEFEI, June 24 (Xinhua) -- Thousands of people in an eastern Chinese tourist city have been evacuated and dozens of scenic attractions closed as torrential rain continues to lash parts of this region. Heavy rain has battered the city of Huangshan, Anhui Province, since June 18, with the water levels of 99 of its 188 reservoirs recorded at above the danger level as of 5 p.m. Sunday. The lives of over 400,000 residents had been affected and 54,109 people had been evacuated as of 3 p.m. Sunday.

[한국미디어뉴스통신=신화통신] 안후이(安徽)성이 통용 인공지능(AI) 기술 산업의 혁신 고지 구축을 목표로 3개년 행동 계획을 발표했다. 안후이성이 19일 발표회에서 밝힌 내용에 따르면 해당 계획은 ▷스마트 컴퓨팅 플랫폼 구축 ▷데이터 자원 개방 촉진 ▷거대 모델 개발 ▷더 많은 응용 시나리오 도입 ▷AI 기업 유치 등에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 계획에 따르면 안후이성은 2025년까지 총 스마트 컴퓨팅 파워를 1만4천P(페타) 이상으로, 교육·의료·자동차 등 중점 산업의 데이터 규모를 500TB(테라바이트)까지 향상시킬 예정이다. 현재 안후이성의 스마트 컴퓨팅 파워는 5천P를 넘는다. 지난해 안후이성에서 AI 산업과 관련한 프로젝트 818건이 추진됐고, 총투자액은 약 6천억 위안(약 110조원)에 달했다. 안후이성은 AI 프로젝트에 필요한 자금을 지원하기 위해 AI 산업을 위한 투자 펀드를 설립했다.
