In a market awash with Chardonnay wines, Chablis continues to stand out as the world’s most distinctive version of this widely planted grape. Domaine Bègue-Mathiot’s excellent 2022 Chablis reflects the best characteristics of the appellation. The Forrester wine farm has winegrowing roots that stretch back to 1689 although the modern era began in 1993 with the Forresters’ purchase of a then-derelict estate. The geologist in me has always been fascinated by the vineyards of Niederösterreich – Wachau, Kamptal and Kremstal being the most famous subregions. These are all situated along the Danube River. https://t.co/teJSerDoEb @WineReviewOnlin #Austria #Wine #AustrianWine
