    Colorado Springs stands tall as a city that honors the rule of law and champions the entrepreneurial spirit. U.S. Rep. Jeff Crank, a proven advocate for our district, has seized a golden opportunity by inviting the Small Business Administration (SBA) to relocate its Denver headquarters to our city. Be assured, SBA, that most of Colorado Springs will emphatically support this proposal. Unlike Denver, Colorado Springs is not — and will never be — a sanctuary city.

    Some scurrilous nonsense made the airwaves back in March, questioning the status of Colorado Springs as Olympic City USA — a brand many other cities have tried to steal over generations by attempting to woo athletes from the U.S. Olympic Training Center, the center itself and the headquarters of the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee in downtown Colorado Springs. That bizarre narrative is dead — officially beaten into the ground, compacted and cemented under by the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

    After plotting to ban millions of guns for "safety," a handful of radical legislative Democrats hope to control trains. They have no such authority and might as well pine for Jim Crow laws. The Colorado Senate’s Transportation and Energy Committee today will hear House Bill 1030, titled “Railroad Safety Requirements.” The bill tries to do something never attempted in another state, probably because it is so patently illegal.
