The nickel-rich single-crystal cathode materials LiNixCoyMn1-x-yO2 (NCM, x ≥ 0.6) have received extensive attentions for Li-ion batteries (LIBs), due to their benefits in terms of structure stability and long-circular-life (vs traditional polycrystalline secondary sphere). Contributed by their advantages, the percentage of single-crystal cathode applications in electric vehicles has constantly increased [1], [2], [3].
