Hi readers, Both as culture editor at Christianity Today and as a freelancer at other outlets, I’m often assigned to review books, films, and other works of art. In one sense, reviews are really straightforward. Someone else has made something, and my job is simply to respond. But reviews also have the added burden of representing others’ stories and arguments accurately and generously. Today, I’m sharing some of the reviews I’ve most enjoyed writing over the last year or so.
