A San Gimignano treasure harmonizing Tuscany and Albania. Within Romanesque and Gothic walls that guard The Town of Five Towers, an enticing gem shines upon cobblestone alleyways. Hums of charm trails the Tuscan sun during the day, then echo in the dark, right through the doors of San Martino 26. A Michelin jewel that draws a fashionable crowd. Curiosity anticipates. Or the yellow ligne un, stretching from La Défense to Château de Vincennes, with a crowded stop at Franklin Roosevelt, right in front of Arc de Triomphe. Some friends come and go, then come back again. As we strolled by the gigantic arc, meandering from one starry restaurant to a stylish concept store: Kith Paris. We didn’t mean to come here.
