(Law Enforcement Against Drugs & Violence). L.E.A.D is a nationwide nonprofit that works with communities to help students understand the dangers of drugs and violence.

CULLMAN, Ala. – One person was hospitalized tonight after a reported hit-and-run crash and pursuit in the city of Cullman. According to officials with the City of Cullman, the Cullman Police Department responded to a hit-and-run crash involving a Dodge Ram pick-up truck and a Chevrolet Malibu at approximately 6:36 p.m. “The Dodge Ram later struck another vehicle and fled, prompting officers to initiate a pursuit,” said a statement from the City.

CULLMAN, Ala. – A local man was found guilty by a Cullman County jury on Thursday, April 3, 2025, of second-degree escape. Anthony Ray Beasley, 53, of Cullman, was indicted on the escape charge back in September 2020. The charge stemmed from his escape from the Cullman County Detention Center on Oct. 17, 2019. Cullman County District Attorney Champ Crocker and Assistant District Attorneys Nathan Brock and Michael Burleson prosecuted the case in the courtroom of Circuit Judge Emily Niezer Johnston.

The new Cullman Savings Bank building sits next to Hank's Sports Bar & Rumors Deli. Opening in 2024, the building has a drive-through banking location, but it’s much more, and that was the wish of Cullman Savings Bank President and CEO John Riley.
