1 INTRODUCTION Coronary atherosclerotic diseases (CAD) remain the leading cause of mortality and morbidity in patients with cardiovascular diseases.1 Early detection of coronary artery lesions has a paramount impact on clinical decision-making and prognosis improvement. Currently, coronary angiography (CAG) is considered a standard tool for the diagnosis of CAD and the assessment of the severity of coronary lesion.
