    Our main analysis examines dyadic aid disbursement between 2009 and 2017. Our unit of analysis is an aid disbursement from a donor to a recipient for a given year; for example, funding from the USA to Kenya for health for the year 2009. We began our analysis in 2009 because Gavi started reporting to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in 2009, and the latest year of data available for most variables is 2018.
