BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - THE NEXT 24 HOURS: The dry weather will continue this evening, and the sky will remain mostly clear. You will continue to notice a slight haze on the horizon from the wildfire smoke in the atmosphere. This will give the sun another beautiful red glow at sunset this evening. Lows tonight will be in the 60s, with a light wind. Once again, some patchy fog will be possible in the early morning hours.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - THE NEXT 24 HOURS: We are finally breaking out of the soggy weather pattern! A front has crossed the area, and this will bring a pleasant north wind, with a clearing sky overnight. Lows tonight will tumble into the 50s. After a cooler start to our Saturday, you can expect lots of sunshine, with highs near 80º. Sunday will also be a dry day for most areas. However, I can’t rule out an isolated shower or storm reaching northern areas. The chance of rain for Sunday will be 20%.
