The second generation of the Hyundai Palisade SUV rolls into the 2025 New York International Auto Show. The 2026 Palisade will be available with a turbocharged 2.5-liter I4 that works with a hybrid system, as well as a 3.5-liter V6. The three-row Palisade is larger than the outgoing model, with a longer wheelbase and shell. Unveiled this week at the New York International Auto Show is the second generation of the three-row Hyundai Palisade SUV, and there are two available powertrains.

The 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan SEL R-Line Turbo packs VW’s EA888 evo5 under the hood, which makes 268 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. This is a 67-hp and 51-lb-ft of torque increase of the base engine in the new Tiguan. Volkswagen says availability and pricing for the Tiguan SEL R-Line Turbo will come closer to its launch later this year. If you thought the latest VW Tiguan didn’t have enough power, Volkswagen is showing off a fix at the New York International Auto Show.

Hyundai’s fifth-generation Santa Fe hit dealer lots last year and ushered in a new era for Hyundai’s people mover. The latest generation Santa Fe moves away from the rounder styling of the past four generations and moves into the growing trend of squared-off SUVs. That boxy, Land Rover-esque shell also helps hide a larger footprint. The new Santa Fe is 2.5 inches taller and 1.7 inches longer, and it rides on a longer wheelbase than the previous model.
