SEYMOUR - Woodland softball has been a dominant force in Connecticut over the last three years with back-to-back-to-back CIAC Class M titles, but has not had the same success in the NVL tournament. After consecutive years of losing in the NVL championship game, Woodland reclaimed the title for the first time since 2022 with a 12-0 win over St. Paul. "It is amazing, this is what our goal has been," Woodland starting pitcher Ella Van Alstyne said.
