    CHESTERTOWN — Police are investigating two separate robbery incidents that occurred Thursday night, April 17, one involving an assault and another targeting a college student. According to a release issued by Chestertown Chief of Police Ron Dixon, around 10 p.m., a woman was approached by a teenage male in the 300 block of Canon Street, according to Chestertown police. The suspect, who appeared to be armed, demanded her car keys.

    CHESTERTOWN — A Laurel, Maryland man was arrested April 15 after allegedly attempting to obtain prescription medication using fraudulent identification at a local pharmacy. Francis Achang Okebugwu, 33, faces multiple charges including controlled dangerous substance (CDS) obtain by fraud, CDS obtain by false ID, prescription obtain by fraud and possession of a false government ID, according to a statement issued by the Chestertown police.
